Bob Beckel is a popular television personality and long-time political commentator. A political analyst for CNN and contributing columnist for USA Today, he was previously a co-host of The Five on the FOX News Channel. In the late seventies he worked for the U.S. State Department, where he served as the youngest Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Carter Administration. After his stint in the Carter White House, he served as national campaign manager for Walter Mondale’s presidential campaign. He is coauthor (with John David Mann) of his national bestselling memoir, I Should Be Dead, which chronicles his lifelong battle with addiction and journey to sobriety, faith, and fulfillment.
